Dr. Mrudula Bhave an eminent ophthalmologist has been practising in Thane for the last 20 years. She did her graduation from Krishna institute of medical science and post graduation from Pune university in 1995. She is attached to Dr. Moghekar Eye hospital in Thane and is a skilful cataract surgeon. She joined as a consultant at Laxmi Eye Institute, Panvel in 2003 where she heads the department of Refractive surgery and has done over 15000 LASIK surgeries.
she is a post graduate teacher for DNB and CPS and a passionate teacher. Her love for reading did not stop here, she went on to do her FRCS from Glasgow in 2009 which was another feather in her cap.
Inspite of having a successful practice she has ventured into her start-up ‘ Nutrichef Enterprises ‘ and her product ‘ Calpal ‘ – provides calorie calculated suppers as a solution for weight management to clients in Thane.
On the personal front she is a fitness enthusiast, an avid trekker and has done high altitude Himalaya treks, above 14000 feet. She is an internationally certified SCUBA diver, a wild life enthusiast, photographer, and her new found passion of organic kitchen gardening. All this while perusing her MBA from Welingkar Institute.
She started composting the household kitchen waste for last 4-5 year but with NUTRICHEF coming up more kitchen waste is produced and more is the scope for organic kitchen gardening.
