Last saturday, 06th June we had a wonderful presentation Organic urban home farming and gardening by Make My Garden team.
As a continuing series, once again TEN – The Entrepreneurs Network along with Thane Maheshwari Mandal Mahila – Yuvati Samiti is pleased to host another exciting session on “Learn the Art of Composting and Kitchen Waste Management” by Thaneite Dr. Lata Ghanshamnani. According to Dr.Lata, kitchen composting if done well, can be used as a fertilizer for your balcony plants. It’s economical and helps you build a better society.
Growing Plants and creating kitchen compost, can be a joint family activity. It helps create an atmosphere of positivity, builds self esteem and helps us stay connected with nature and mother earth.

About Speaker – Dr Lata Ghanshamnani
Dr Lata Ghanshamnani is an ophthalmologist, with keen interest in waste management. She is also co-founder of NGO, RNisarg Foundation. The foundation focuses primarily on improving civic issues of the city through citizen engagement.
Currently they are focussed in aread of Residential Waste Management, Hospital Waste Management, COVID waste management, Sustainable Menstrual Practices, Road Safety, etc. They are engaging children and adults on above topics through awareness creation, discipline and participation model.Kindly register for the event by filling up the registration form.
